Former Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey has revealed
what Cristiano Ronaldo told him moments after
completing the switch to the Serie A champions –
Juventus.

According to Mirror citing BBC, the 28-year-old
Ramsey has so far made five appearances for the
Old Lady after arriving from Arsenal with an injury
last summer, but he will not forget in a hurry the
role Ronaldo played in assisting him settle in Turin,
stressing that the five-time Ballon d'or winner is
"just a normal man".

“He was just like everybody else, really welcoming,”
Ramsey was quoted as saying to the BBC .
"Of course, he is one of the greatest to play the
game but he is just a normal man. He breaks the
ice straight away and makes you feel like you are
talking to anybody else.

“There is a family feeling about the whole club.
Everybody is in it to achieve one thing: to win
football matches and trophies.

Everybody is driven
and very focused on what they need to be doing.”
Interestingly, Ramsey was closing in in an
extension at the Emirates, but Arsenal withdrew
their offer at the last minute, a move that ensured
the Welshman had to leave North London after 11
years stint at the Premier League club outfit.

The Cardiff-born midfielder has put the experience
behind and has now turned his focus on winning
laurels in the Italian topflight.

“It [was explained] in the end,” Ramsey said.
“There was a lot of confusion and a lot of things
were up in the air.

The decision was made and that
was the situation, so I had to look at other options.
Arsenal are going through a transitional period at the
moment.
